Welcome to the Academic Commons Program website. Here you’ll find information, application guidelines, documentation of projects, and our ACP Forum—a place to follow ACP projects in action and share common educational interests at RISD.
Funded by a $160,000 grant from the Davis Educational Foundation, the Academic Commons Program (ACP) is a two-year pilot program supporting research and practice in integrative teaching and learning across RISD’s undergraduate programs.

RISD’s full- and part-time faculty, graduate students, and recent post-grads are invited to apply for grants and fellowships to support innovative, dynamic, integrative teaching and learning. Read more…
